A large percentage of Brand Brown’s sector expertise has derived from the UK insurance broking industry. We have worked on marketing niche schemes and affinity programmes and have gained expertise in this ever-changing marketplace, smothered in M&A activity. Our experience has also been learnt from the corporate side of the fence, which included leading the operational change programme of rebranding a number of consolidated businesses in large consolidators.

The way we work is very simple.

You get insurance marketing expertise within your business without the overheads or commitment to a full time employee. We get to work with some fantastic businesses and provide opportunities, sharing ideas along the way.

The aim is to assist insurance brokers to achieve their goals in respect of generating new business, cross selling, develop existing relationships, client retention, regular communications and differentiating their business amongst the other 3000 or so insurance brokers in the UK. We do not have one client that doesn’t have a great story to tell!

One of the questions we’re ask most is how do you track ROI in terms of brand presence and what effect that has on the bottom line. The reality is that if you’re not using digital media or pushing your brand, you will be left behind. There is a lot you can achieve cost effectively digitally and utilising the right channels to your advantage. To get the best bang for your buck, treat us like you would your accountant. Find an expert or someone that is used to dealing with the press or multiple marketing channels – and that way you stand the best chance of achieving the best result.

Robert Brown founded Brand Brown to provides independent businesses with effective marketing management through a combination of digital and traditional techniques generating bottom line results. Robert’s enthusiasm and passion for marketing is the driving force behind Brand Brown. He has over 15 years experience within insurance marketing. Robert started his career at Layton Blackham insurance brokers where he was a Marketing Executive focused on affinity insurance programmes and private clients. Later at national insurance broker, Bluefin, a subsidiary of AXA UK, Robert led the operational change brand workstream to bring together a number of businesses under one holding brand. Robert later joined management consultancy, Endorphin Consulting LLP, as Operations Partner, working on various investments and consultancy work. Today Brand Brown counts amongst it’s insurance broking clients well know independent brokers such as Yutree Insurance who are the approved BIBA Liability scheme provider, Horner Blakey Insurance Brokers based in the city of London and PK Partnership who are the official insurance provider to Gumball 3000 to name but a few.
